Carina Cruz
My name is Carina Cruz and I am a 24 years old student that lives in Gondomar.
As a child, my mind was always filled with creativity, so when high school came around I threw myself into the Visual Arts. Arts were always my first priority until I realized I liked to learn Foreign languages. Life is not all about studying, it is also about working and living new experiences, so right after high school, I tried to get a job. I could not find one, so I decided to take a professional course (Marketing technique). I am extremely flexible with my time. This is a skill I had to develop to manage both my academic and my professional activities being a student worker.
Rafaela Raposo
Hello! My name is Rafaela Marques Raposo and I am 20 years old. I am currently on my first year studying Languages and Foreign Cultures at the Higher School of Education in Porto and my experience so far has been extremely positive.
I grew up surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the Porto city life, but despite that I also have a huge need for more country-related activities every once in a while. I feel that the balance between the two is ideal and I try to aim for that middle ground. I like to see myself as someone who is highly adaptable and flexible and enthusiastic about the subjects I am passionate about, like music, technology and cultures. I enjoy spending time discussing these topics with people and learn more about them every chance I get. I am extremely fortunate for the opportunities I have at my reach which will help me develop as a person and mature as I get older. I look forward to what the future may bring me!
João Sousa
I am a young male, 24 years old, I study Languages and Foreign Cultures at Higher Shcool of Education (ESE) in Porto, and so far I am enjoying it, at least some subjects. I was born here in Porto, and I live in São Pedro da Cova, Gondomar, a city with a lack of social equilibrium. I have been living there my whole life and I still can trust some people from there, life is quite simple there.
I am quite critical and serious, I like to have my fun time, but most of the times I am distracted by work and music. My interests are sports, theater, education, tourism, music, language and culture exchange, and general History.
I must say that I have a small vein for voice interviews and voice over activities, such as e-books and amateur cartoon series. The people who know me can see that I take some time to gain their trust, I always try to be direct and I always request feedback from my actions in life.
Maybe one day you can meet me and be my colleague, who knows?
Sara Silva
My name is Sara and I am 19 years old. This is my first year as a student at ESE, the higher school of education in Porto, in the degree of Foreign Languages and Cultures and it has been crazy.
Although I have lived most of my life in Porto, I was fortunate enough to have lived in Switzerland for a few years and to have explored some countries, and this made of me a person that enjoys being in contact with different cultures.
I consider myself a girl that has fallen in love with life. I like to get out of my comfort zone, to lose myself in the midst of music, texts, and landscapes, but at the same time a regular girl of my age, that is learning and growing through new experiences, like college.
I hope that these opportunities of learning and experience help me to grow even more and that this passion for life makes me persistent to achieve my personal goals in life.
