Final Result

As a group, we decided to keep our poster simple but straight to the point. Considering the fact that the main subject of our e-Portfolio project revolves around the worldwide famous website Youtube, we wanted our message to be an interrogative, rhetorical question. “Is Youtube the New Television?” is something that has been debated multiple times and that is not surprising in the slightest. Youtube does not have any borders, it is something we share as a society. Even Youtube’s own Logo, used in an obvious way on our Poster, transcends any language that exists, it is recognizable by most of the world that has access to the Internet, we can almost claim that it is universal in a way. Some might even think that due to its widespread reach it will eventually replace television as the favorite source of entertainment, and this is especially visible on younger generations who grew up with this platform and who rely less on traditional media. So as a group we decided to focus on that uncertainty of will Youtube actually assert itself as the powerhouse of entertainment and informative content.
